Falmouth
is growing by the year as a popular night spot in Cornwall.
With
the opening of a new University Campus at Tremough in nearby Penryn,
and the well established Art College in Wood Lane, Falmouth has
become a hot haunt with the students.
That
said the locals really know how to party as well. All the pubs in
the town centre offer live bands, like Small Wonder and The Shirts
who offer great cover versions of soul and pop classics.

| Big
smiles at the weekend |
If
you're looking for chill out tunes and specialist music pubs like
The Hub, and The Watermans offer DJ's spinning the vinyl. All the
pubs in the town offer DJs at the weekend.
The
big student haunt in the town is Remedies on the Moor. The venue
has a downstairs bar which offers music seven-days-a-week and a
club called Verdicts upstairs which pumps out the party tunes on
a Friday and Saturday night. The ever popular Karaoke night crams
Remedies Bar on a Sunday night.
The
locals tend to party at Club International. The club has been open
since 1967, and has seen a few generations of the same families
party there.

| 'Ere
cheeky! |
You
can find the club above St George's Arcade in the middle of the
town centre.
At
the top end of town near the National Maritime Museum you'll find
Shades. It's a much smaller club which has also been open for many
years.
They
do hip-hop nights, rock nights, as well as the party nights at the
weekend.
Well
that's the basics about Falmouth, now it's your turn!
