Teetering
on "Pen an Wlas" (the Cornish for 'end of the earth'), lies
Lands End, the most Westerly point in England.
With over 20,000 square feet of exhibitions and attractions, Lands
End is more than just a famous landmark.

The famous
landmark, attracts thousands of visitors each year to have their photograph
taken under the famous signpost. The other major attraction is the
first building to be built on the site - rather fittingly named -
the First and Last House.

Not only is the scenery at Lands End steeped in natural beauty, there
are also a variety of attractions for visitors to enjoy.
Visit the multi-sensory shows such as 'The Relentless Sea' - that
documents a man's heroic struggle with the sea. The show is filmed
so that you as the viewer become one of the rescue team responsible
for saving the man.

sensory show - The Last Labyrinth |
'The Last Labyrinth' - a favourite with visitor's for 13 years - takes
you through the history of Lands End bringing tales of heroism, skulduggery
and adventure. The theatrical setting creates mist and drizzle and
includes lifesize characters from the past, sailing craft and four
large screens to watch the story unfold.
Visit
the 200 year-old farm, 'The Land of Greeb' and buy a bag of food to
feed the animals. From sheep, rabbits, ducks, goats, chickens and
even bees, there are plenty to see.

Send your postcards from the Land's End post room and shop for gifts
at the Land's End and John O'Groats Trading Company.
Finish the day off with a meal over looking the lighthouse and the
Scillies beyond.

If you are lucky enough to visit Lands End during August - weather
permitting - you may be able to see the spectacular dispaly of fireworks
that take place every Tuesday and Thursday.
