Complaint

We received complaints from viewers who were unhappy that the word 'damning' was spelt incorrectly in an on-screen graphic.

The BBC's response

This was an unfortunate human error for which we apologise. We endeavour to ensure that all our output is completely correct but despite our exacting standards, with hundreds of hours of live news broadcasting every week, sometimes mistakes can occur.
