We received complaints from some viewers who were unhappy with the disruption to the BBC Two schedule to accommodate coverage of Wimbledon on 7 July 2012.
We apologise to anyone who was frustrated by the late changes to the schedules on BBC Two on 7 July.
As a result of rain and long matches earlier in the day, the men's and women's doubles finals played into the late evening. The men's doubles final also featured the first British male to win a Wimbledon men's doubles title in 76 years.
The BBC has a contractual commitment to show these matches on terrestrial television so the decision was taken to delay The Hollow Crown Henry IV part 1 by one hour on BBC Two and to switch the tennis to BBC One at 10pm.
A repeat of The Hollow Crown Henry IV part 1 was shown on BBC Four on 8 July at 9pm and it is available to watch on BBC iPlayer until 28 July 2012.
