BBC Connector is closed. The chat service was trialled on several BBC websites between May 2003 and March 2005 and many thousands of people made use of it. The BBC completed its evaluation and decided, in the light of the limited funds available, that other forms of interaction would take a higher priority in the short term.

We are constantly considering new ways to let our audience interact and the valuable learning we gained from running the pilot will feed into any future development.
