iPresenter Lorraine: Hello and welcome to our Livechat from the BBCi studio here at Bush House. Tonight we have Def Jam UK's rising RnB star Terri Walker with us for a live chat. I'm Lorraine Gabriel and I'll be putting YOUR questions LIVE to our Star Guest. iPresenter: Please welcome TERRI WALKER.

Question from Jake: Are your family and friends supportive of what you're doing?

Terri_Walker: Yeah 100% they always have been from the beginning. I always used to sing so they always used to tell me to shut up!

Question from Ryan: Tell me how you ended up in Germany, what was it like for you? Do you feel your time in Germany has affected your music style?

Terri_Walker: Living in Germany was wicked coz I got to learn about different cultures and I speak German and I got to learn about the RnB scene

Question from steve: just tried to get tickets for the jazz cafe? ouch, told they are sold out!!!! that'll be heavy for ya!

Terri_Walker: 26th of February in Camden - all sold out!

Question from Terrisno1fan2003: Question for Terri: Did you do anything before your singing career, such as acting?

Terri_Walker: No I went to stage school for a year but they did more acting and I'm more of a comedian.

Question from stevesweetland: you are making a huge impact on the world with ya music, I mean, its PROPERLY top stuff, how does that feel?

Terri_Walker: It's amazing and it feels so good for him to say I'm making an impact. Everyone that's on Drawing Board is from the UK so it's weird that people say that it sounds American. Maybe it's because we grew up on the American sound.

Question from Ease: Who else have you worked with, who's been the most interesting/ most fun?

Terri_Walker: I worked with Warren Campell in the US - out this week! - he's worked with people like Brandy and Sisco so as I was recording ...he was in the booth with me and encouraging me... it's wicked... different people, different vibes. I did the whole Shanks and Bigfoot album then I did something with 187 Lockdown and remixes for Samantha Mumba.

Question from pink: If you could team up with any artist, who would be?

Terri_Walker: Pink! I was opera trained before I started doing my thing so it would be good to do something with Alicia Keys.

Question from Bigup: Is it true that a bidding war that took place between Universal, Elektra and Def Jam to get you signed to their labels?

Terri_Walker: I was pop-u-lar! I went to the States first because it's appreciated there more and we supposed to fly out on Sept 13th 2001, but then 9/11 happened so the meeting happened here in the UK.

Question from Jasmine_Singh: How old were you when you released your first song?

Terri_Walker: 20 or 21.
