Question from Billy M: Do you think Billy deserves to have a bit of good fortune in his life?

Perry Fenwick: Yeah he does. I don't know how it will pan out for him though. There's a part of the character that works on him being a chancer, like Del Boy. He had all the money with Janine and it's now all gone. Billy has to need money to function. God loves a trier. Even though it might come out wrong, he's just trying to survive. He wants love, money and happiness which everyone wants.

Question from Wendy Baker: When are you going to get it together with Little Mo?

Perry Fenwick: I don't know! I really don't know. One minute they get close and the next minute it's taken away again. They're great mates, she's another little lost soul. Everybody wants it to happen, we get lots of letters about it. They're both a bit thick really, in the nicest sense of a word! They are well suited, but I don't know how long they would last together if they did. It would be a Billy Liar sort of world they would be living in. If the public want it, you never know!

Question from Louise Berry: Are we going to learn any more now about Billy's past and other family?

Perry Fenwick: There was stuff about Billy's parents in tonight's show, which means they're not dead as such. Read between the lines, they could turn up at some point, I don't know. For the time being, there was a lot of questions answered tonight that people needed to find out. Hopefully with what people have seen tonight, they think it's not right how he behaves but there's some grounding for it.

Question from Gareth Dyer: How do you find working with the likes of Barbara Windsor and other long standing characters? Did you fit in well?

Perry Fenwick: Brilliant. Every now and again, you'll be standing in the Queen Vic and it'll suddenly hit you that you're in EastEnders and there's Barbara Windsor! Working with John in tonight's episode was great as he used to write for the greats like Morecombe and Wise, and that sort of thing is priceless.

Question from Richard Simmons: Who do you most like acting with from the characters from the show?

Perry Fenwick: All of them. That sounds a bit of a cop out but I couldn't single out one. I work a lot with Tamsen, Michael Greco, Steve McFadden, Martin Kemp. By the way the programme is made and the media spotlight, we're all in a gang really. I love them all. You work with someone like Charlie Brooks, she was great. People don't realise how young she really is. I work great with them all. It's a joy. The only down side is the hanging about, you just want to get in there and do stuff.

Question from Kat: Hi Perry, what is your favourite thing about Billy?

Perry Fenwick: I love it when they write me good gags! The directors down there are quite lenient with me. If I see a gag that I want to do, I'd do it. I like doing stuff like tonight and the comic stuff as well.

Question from Alex Day: Are there any interesting story lines coming up involving Billy in the future?

Perry Fenwick: They don't really tell us that much. I've been involved in other storylines since we filmed tonight's episodes but nothing that moves Billy forward any more. It's best just to know a little bit as you go along.

Question from Yvonne Keddie: What are your ambitions for the future?

Perry Fenwick: I'm quite happy at the moment. In 10 years time, I may not even be acting. I don't see myself being an old actor. I'd like to do as much as I can and then bow out - live abroad or by the seaside maybe. Don't take that too literally though. If I'm offered a huge film when I'm 50, I'm not retiring!!

BBC Host: Here's Perry with a final word ...

Perry Fenwick: Thanks very much. It's been a big night for me tonight in EastEnders. Thanks for all your questions and keep watching. It's going to get better. There's tons more stuff coming up. Thank you.
