Question from Huggynuts: Carla, I recall reading long ago that you had a fear of motorbikes. Did they use doubles to play your riding roles.. or did you bite the bullet and learn yourself?
Carla Bonner: I would bite the bullet and learn myself. I can ride it's just that for safety reasons if by chance I fall off the bike, there's all sorts of complications such as reshoots. It would throw a spanner in the works so they prefer us not to do things like that.

Question From Beast: What's the most annoying question you get asked in interviews?!?
Janet Andrewartha: Pass...
Carla Bonner: Sorry Beast!

Question from Clare: Would you like Lyn to have another baby?
Janet Andrewartha: She seems to have enough - a son as well somewhere. At the same time, there's always room for one more. Why not?

Question from Caroline in Glasgow: Janet - you look as if you have a very close relationship with the three girls that play your daughters. Do you sometimes feel like their real mum?
Janet Andrewartha: I know their real mums quite well and Holly's and I call each other mum. I'm so close to them, I adore all three of them, but I have my own children. They are friends of mine more than anything. At work, we have a great relationship I'm happy to say.

Question from Caroline for Carla: I was in Oz this summer and saw you on Celebrity Big Brother. Did you enjoy that experience? Your two boys are adorable btw!
Carla Bonner: They are aren't they - thank you! It was great fun. It was three days so it wasn't a life changing experience or anything but it was different. I couldn't help feeling like an animal at the zoo. I constantly was aware of the cameras being there but then I wasn't really into performing for the cameras either. They got me being myself.

Question from Karl Ayers: Hi Carla. This week in the UK we are seeing the return of Mitch. But, will we ever see the return of Woody and is a true that the Woody storyline was based on an idea that you thought up?
Carla Bonner: It's true, I wrote the Woody storyline. No, no Woody. Mitch is back for a while though.
Janet Andrewartha: Carla's wonderful at thinking up storylines.
Carla Bonner: I always wrote as a kid, then I dropped it for a while, but it's still in there and I like to think of fresh ideas for Steph.
Janet Andrewartha: I wrote comedy years ago and now I think how on earth did I do it? A lot of it is thinking on your feet though so it's more about devising it. Real writing I'll leave to the experts.

Question from Diane: Hi Janet. Your family in Neighbours is in a lot of turmoil. What would you do in that situation?
Janet Andrewartha: It's difficult to tell you exactly, as I can't remember where you're up to. I'll have a think!

Question from Hydrogen: Have either of you ever been caught out doing something really wild on a (perhaps drunken) night out since you became famous, and if so, what?
Janet Andrewartha: We haven't been sprung yet!
Carla Bonner: The night of the Prisoner gig, a couple of us ended up getting drunk and ended up on the cover of a magazine, but it wasn't too bad.

Question from sez: Carla, what would u do about the Mitch story line in real life?
Carla Bonner: Probably get some heavy mates to come and deal with him! The way they wrote for Steph to deal with it is applicable to how I'd do it too.

Question from steve_121: With Flick leaving and Jack arriving in the near future does this help take the Scully clan to a different level?
Janet Andrewartha: There's certainly new levels arising for different reasons, into the Scully world. There's two very big changes.
Carla Bonner: I don't think it changes the family as such.
Janet Andrewartha: It's a high energy house, there's always something going on - and usually going wrong!

Question from James: Why do you think Neighbours is such a winning success?
Janet Andrewartha: The audience. It's a two way thing - the way you, the viewer, accept it and make it yours, is why it works. It's a two way street I think. We're just glad you tune in every weekday and you make it a success.
Carla Bonner: I really believe it's got to do with how it's sunny and bright there that you like watching, now I've seen the weather here. It's a real contrast to here.

Question from Helen16: Do you ever watch yourselves after filming? if so, do you find it really embarrassing?
Janet Andrewartha: Yes, often! I occasionally check a run-through if I'm worried about something. We used to when we first started but it's not such a thing any more.
Carla Bonner: I do like to watch it because I learn a lot from watching what I'm doing. I'm very critical of myself. My son is very critical of me too.

Question from Rachel:Hi Janet, I heard that you have a part in the forthcoming film 'The Season'. Was it difficult to fit in with your Neighbours commitments? Would you like the opportunity to play more different roles or are you happy to continue playing Lyn?
Janet Andrewartha: I don't know about this at all! [laughs]

Question from John:Janet, are you pleased with the way Lyn's character has developed since the Scullys arrived (in particular her dress sense!)?
Janet Andrewartha: Fabulous! We had a change of designer and I couldn't have been more thrilled. I feel a little bit more comfortable in her gear now. I love the way she's constantly changing. I believe one of the really main essences of soap is change and we shouldn't be afraid to alter things. I'm all for change.

Question from Jack: If there was a film made about your life, who would you want to play you?
Carla Bonner: I like Drew Barrymore, she's cool.
Janet Andrewartha: I have been told I look like Stockard Channing, but I think she's a bit older than me. Perhaps she's got a daughter or something.

That is all we have time for. Here are Carla and Janet with a final word...

Carla Bonner: Thank you and thanks for chatting to us. It's great to be here - the other side of the world!

Janet Andrewartha: Thank you for watching us and making Neighbours so popular and having us in your beautiful city.
