iPresenter Teresa: Hello, and welcome to this evening's Refresh Live Chat with Mis-teeq and Kym Marsh.
Question from Leanne, Weymouth: What do you most like about being a group?
Mis-teeq: Su-Elise: The main thing is that you have other people to share your experiences
with. You go to fantastic countries and I have two friends to share it with!
Question from jcort9: Mis-teeq, who are your idols?
Mis-teeq: Sabrina: We were all influenced a lot by Motown, Mary J Blige - Alesha was into
Lauryn Hill. We were really inspired by TLC.
Question from Alex: When you go clubbing do you dance like you do in your videos?!?
Mis-teeq: Alesha: Hi Alex. I've been known to!!! No - of course we don't but I remember once
going on holiday and in a club, for a joke, was reciting the routine but I had a few drinks! It's
fun.
Mis-teeq: Sabrina: We went shopping yesterday and as soon as you walk into a shop, they play
your song - so I started doing the routine in the dressing room!
Question from kaylee: Where do get your inspiration for your songs from?
Mis-teeq: Su-Elise: Hi. We could be driving down the road and might see something, or might
be having a conversation, lots of things really. We listen to the backing track and get the vibe off
the music.
Mis-teeq: Alesha: With MCing, you try and match it to the theme but it doesn't always have to
rhyme!
Question from ams1290: Hi Mis-teeq, if you weren't popstars what would you of liked to
become?
Mis-teeq: Sabrina: I wanted to be a barrister, so very different!
Mis-teeq: Su-Elise: I would have probably followed on with my business degree.
Mis-teeq: Alesha: I wanted to be a teacher - maybe one day but to do with music.
Question from sophiexxx: Hey mis-teeq i am a massive fan! congrats on Scandalous getting to
number 2! wat has been the highlight of your careers so far?
Mis-teeq: Thanks very much.
Mis-teeq: Sabrina: Definitely the Jubilee, because that will go down in history. That day was
very much like a fairytale. Also The Brits where we did that very visual performance.
Mis-teeq: Su-Elise: and when the first album went platinum - we couldn't believe it!
Mis-teeq: Alesha: When we started performing with our live band, that was an achievement in
itself.
Question from candyfloss: HOW DO U MANAGE TO LOOK SO STYLISH AND WATS UR FAV SHOPS?
Mis-teeq: Alesha: Wicked name, Candyfloss!
Mis-teeq: Su-Elise: Sometimes we don't look so stylish!
Mis-teeq: Sabrina: We have a very good stylist. We like casual smart - bit like today really.
We mix high street with designer, a bit of everything.
Mis-teeq: Alesha: Good clothes is good clothes!
