Question from Rob: What made you want to present Saturday morning TV?
Dani Behr: I think when I got the phone call from the BBC and they went through the style and content of the show it really appealed to me. It was such a variety of entertainment. Any opportunity to host a live show is a great opportunity. Not being on tv for a while due to doing more acting, it was a great show to come back on tv and do.
Question from Andy: Who is your favourite pop band?
Dani Behr: I like most music, there's very few I don't like. My fave boy band is probably The Backstreet Boys but I love the Saturday Show house band - they will be massive stars very soon. If you have any ideas of band names for the house band, write in to the show as we're running a competition at the moment.
Question from Tim: What have you been up to since you presented The Word?
Dani Behr: That was about 10 years ago now. Since then I've done about 20 different TV shows for the UK and the US. Everything from the Big Breakfast to Dani Dares to Ice Warriors and then I did some shows for the States as well. In between that I've had some acting jobs. I did 5 movies, radio shows on Kiss FM and Galaxy FM, so pretty busy, even though I haven't been on screen.
Question from Danny: What was your favourite children’s programme when you were at school?
Dani Behr: Crackerjack! I loved Crackerjack and On Safari with Christopher Biggins, I loved that show. I liked Game For A Laugh too but that wasn't really a kids show. My parents were quite strict with letting me watch tv when I was younger, only a couple of hours a night.
Question from Caroline: Do you play any sports?
Dani Behr: I was always mediocre at school. I got into the team but didn't really excel. I go to the gym, run and work out. I have to get rid of my energy. I played Netball, Hockey, and did long distance running. I then went to performing arts school so I ended up being more of a dancer, from ballet to jazz to tap!
Question from Janah: Are you sad that 5ive have announced that they’re splitting up?
Dani Behr: Of course. I think they are a fantastic band. They've got a great new album and it's always a shame when a great band splits up but they have their reasons.
Question from Ruth: Which member of The Saturday Show would you most like to date?
Dani Behr: It would have to be Mr Duk! No, well the Saturday Show band is cute and so is Joe but he's married so that's out of the question. Give me a few weeks to get to know them better. You should never mix work with pleasure though! I've never been out with someone I work with. I like to separate my personal life from my work life. I get to work with six gorgeous men every week though! I think the band are all very good looking and are lovely guys. A couple of them have girlfriends though. I think we're all getting to know each other at the moment and getting the show right.
