BBC Host: Hello, and welcome to tonight’s Live Chat with Brooke Kinsella. Brooke joined EastEnders in 2001 as Kelly Taylor. She befriended Zoe when she was homeless and on the game. The pair have been firm friends ever since. When Zoe ran away from the Square for a second time, it was Kelly she turned to and they lived it up in Tenerife before returning to Walford to wreak havoc!

Question from Daphney: What is the strangest rumour you've heard about yourself?

Brooke Kinsella: Good Question Daphne! Probably that me and Spencer are together in real life, which isn't true, although he is lovely.

Question from Julia: Do you like the character that you play in EastEnders?

Brooke Kinsella: Julia, I do. I've auditioned for a few characters in EE but I'm glad Kelly was the one I was chosen for.

Question from Olivia and Natalie: How did find out about the audition for the part of Kelly?

Brooke Kinsella: I've been going to drama school since I was really young and they got me an audition. It is hard, but if you're determined you can do it.

Question from Josh: Do you want your character to develop more? And how would you develop her?

Brooke Kinsella: Ooh Josh, I really would like Kelly to get together with Spencer, she needs somebody to look after her. He's trying so hard, I feel so mean, but it's not me.

Question from Manal1992: Hiya Brooke, would you and Zoe really go out shopping?

Brooke Kinsella: We do, all the time. Me and Michelle are out every day. We like to go party, go to the cinema and everything. I love shopping, too much really! Clothes especially.

Question from Andy: Who do you get along with best off-set from the cast?

Brooke Kinsella: Hi Andy. Probably Michelle, she lives part time with me as she lives far away. A lot of us young cast get on really well together.

Question from Rich: What's Shane Richie like to work with?

Brooke Kinsella: He's amazing, he is his character. He's so much fun and he's always playing jokes. It makes the day go quicker!

Question from Sarah: Who is your favourite past or present character in EastEnders and why?

Brooke Kinsella: I love Bianca and Tiffany, and I think that's what me and Michelle want to be! Or the new Dot & Ethel! Tiffany, definitely.

Question from Electricdude: What is the worst part about EastEnders?

Brooke Kinsella: There's not really a worst part. It's very tiring and you have to work such long hours, but there's too many good things. It's good to be recognised and know that people like you. We don't mind at all.

Question from SK8686: How did you react to your offer to play a part in EastEnders?

Brooke Kinsella: I went into shock and started screaming. I did a few episodes and I thought that would be it, but when they said they wanted me to come back, it was amazing.

Question from hayley: You were in No Child Of Mine when you were younger - did you find it harrowing?

Brooke Kinsella: That's right Hayley. It was about six years. It was very controversial but, at the time, I was 13 and it was my biggest part. I was spoilt rotten as I was the only child on set. It was a good experience to do. It was nice to know I helped some kids, it was a good thing.

Question from bubblez: If you could pick any other soap to be on, what would it be, and which character would you play?

Brooke Kinsella: I like your name! I was just filming with the Brookie cast... it was for a kids show. I'll have to work on my accent though!

Question from Evil: Are u happy about the amount of attention you get now ur on tv?

Brooke Kinsella: It varies. There can be days when nobody knows who you are. If you want this job, you have to live with it though, you can't complain about it.

Question from Richie: Are you anything like your character in EastEnders?

Brooke Kinsella: I'm a bit shyer than Kelly, but she's got a heart of gold. She does look out for her friends and I do too, so that part of me is similar to Kelly. She does care for Zoe and they look after each other in different ways.

Question from Mark1: How many hours a week do you have to spend filming on set?

Brooke Kinsella: It can be so different. We could be in five days a week or just one, it really depends on the storylines. We get our scripts a few weeks in advance, not even that sometimes!

Question from Nas03: Hello there Brooke, what do you look for in a man?

Brooke Kinsella: Ooohhh... just people who look after me. I don't want anyone to treat me any different... someone who I can have a laugh with, and looks as well!

Question from rob: Have you ever worked on a market stall?

Brooke Kinsella: Yes I have Rob, my uncle used to run an Easter Egg stall and I used to help him out on that.

Question from charlie: How old are you now and would you be happy to spend the rest of your career on EastEnders like Todd Carty?

Brooke Kinsella: I'm 19 now and no, I wouldn't. I don't want to leave yet but I wouldn't like to stay in it forever. It's so much fun and I'd hate to leave but there will be a time when I have to move on.

Question from Row: Chris Parker is gorgeous. How do u manage to work with him and not fancy him?!

Brooke Kinsella: I don't know Row! I see the bad things of him too! He's lovely but it's professionalism really...

Question from treebor: Do you live in the East End?

Brooke Kinsella: No. My Grandad grew up there and I've heard what it's like though.

Brooke Kinsella "I love Angelina Jolie and she's played so many things, so I'd love to do something like that. I want to do lots of different things. Buffy, I'd love to be in that, it's one of my favourite programmes. I've got every video, I love it!"
