Blue Blue
Simon and Lee from the mega-successful band Blue talked Elton John, annoying habits and granny-worrying in this TOTP chat...

Question from Annabel: You guys have just announced you're appearing at this year’s TOTP awards. Are you excited about that?

Blue Simon: Yes, very excited. Last year we weren't in the category, so it's better for us this year.

Blue Lee: We never know if we're going to win or not.

Question from Soraya: What’s One Love all about?

Blue Simon: It's a phrase that is used on telephone conversations. One love is for everybody.

Blue Lee: We were trying to get a message across.

Question from James: How is the new album different to the first?

Blue Lee: It's harder.

Blue Simon: More hip hop based. More tempo. More grimy. It's a natural progression. This one's even better.

Question from Gabi: What are your fave songs from the new album?

Blue Lee: Don't Treat Me Like A Fool. I like ballads. Riders is great too. I've been brought up with Elton John and we needed another ballad, so I said 'what about this'? We demo-ed it and our boss said let's do this with Elton John.

Blue Simon: Elton is a real character. If he walked into a room we would stand up straight!

Question from Christoph: A1 have split for individual projects. Will we be seeing any solo careers blossoming soon?

Blue Simon: We haven't released our second album yet!

Blue Lee: We've got our own things we like to do.

Blue Simon And we have our own production companies.

Blue Lee: We talk about the things we want to do together and stuff we want to do on our own. We want to last as a group.
