Brookside Raymond: I didn't actually decide. I got into it and started to enjoy it. I go to a Saturday drama class, I still go.

Brookside Katy: My mum's a drama teacher and I come from an acting family so acting has all been around me.

Brookside Raymond: I started when I was 9, now I'm 12.

Brookside Katy: I started when I was 7 and now I'm 17.

Question from Abigail: How did you both get your parts on Brookside?

Brookside Raymond: Through my agent and I had to audition.

Brookside Katy: I had to audition and then we were tried it with all the members of the family to make sure the family was right.

Question from Sarah: Do either of you think you are anything like your characters?

Brookside Raymond & Katy: Not at all.

Brookside Katy: My character is a geek!

Question from Stephen: How many hours a week do you work?

Brookside Katy: It changes. When I had the big story line I was in every day for 4 weeks. Usually it's 3 or 4 days a week, cos we have to fit school in too.

Question from Peter: Is it difficult to learn your lines?

Brookside Raymond: No, it's easy for me, it only takes half an hour!

Brookside Katy: You get used to it. When you're off for a while, you need to get back into it.

Brookside Raymond: I get in early every day. I'm doing 8 episodes over the school holidays.

Question from Wicked: Were you a Brookside fan before you were a cast member?

Brookside Katy: Yeah. It's always there when you turn the TV on so I watch it.

Brookside Raymond: Of course!

Brookside Raymond: Getting to meet the stars. And when you're actually filming.

Brookside Katy: That everyone gets on really well, like all the crew and cast members.

Brookside Raymond: Well I didn't know about it but my mum sent me for lessons. I loved watching other people COs I couldn't do it, they were better than me. Then I decided to get into it.

Question from Stuart Cowley: Katy, do you fancy anyone in Brookside?

Brookside Katy: Well, I think all the lads on Brookside are gorgeous! There is one in particular, but I can't say!
