This section depicts the Copyright Grid to position your copyright line and requirements for programmes for BBC, Open University and UKTV Copyright Lines.

Positioning the Copyright Line

Grid for copyright line All end credits copyright lines should sit within this grid (shown in red). This grid is 16 pixels in height. 490 pixels from top of screen to top of grid. 70 pixels from bottom of screen to bottom of grid. Range according to end frame design. Individual channel names should not be included in the copyright line


Copyright for BBC programmes
All copyright lines must appear in the following style:
  • the copyright symbol
  • the letters BBC in the corporate typeface (i.e. the logo must not be used)
  • the year of first transmission in Roman numerals in the corporate typeface
    • BBC Copyright 2003

    The copyright lines is dependent on channel and should appear in the following style:
