This section explains branding and copyright line requirements for programmes made by independent producers, together with guidance on the use of independent company logos. If relevant, you can also view additional information on closing branding for co-commissions (between two independent companies)
Under the new agreement, there can be no opening branding for the BBC or any independent production company or co-producer.
In addition to the requirements for network and non-network programmes an independent production company may be identified only by:

Please note that delivery requirements for BBC Three end credits now fall in line with the rest of the BBC and deliver with just the BBC logo.

Where a programme is part of a strand (e.g. Imagine) the independent production company identification and accompanying BBC logo should be on the penultimate card. The copyright line should be on the final card.
