Closing Branding

This section explains the closing sequence requirements for programmes made by BBC departments, and then shows the artwork for closing endboards. Note that only one BBC logo can be included on the closing endboard. Copyright Line requirements are detailed here.

We have differing requirements for Co-Productions and Children's programmes. Please check these relevant sections for more information.

Note that programmes produced by English Production Centres (in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester) should use the appropriate 'BBC Productions' animated logo.

Network programmes by London BBC departments

Logo size: The 'BBC Productions' logo animation should be used at the size supplied. If needed it can be reduced to 75% of its height/width.

The BBC logo must:

  • Be the correct version of the animated 'BBC Productions' logo
  • be white of black only
  • be centred wherever possible
  • appear over the same background as the other programme credits, or over black
  • not use dropped shadow.
