BBC Online External Quota Out-turn

The service licence for bbc.co.uk states that the BBC is committed to an external spend quota of at least 25% of eligible activity.

The BBC Trust reports on headline performance against the target annually in the Annual Report.

Statement of Online Operations (2006)

The BBC operates its commissioning activities under an external quota for bbc.co.uk. This means that at least 25% of eligible spend is spent with external suppliers. The BBC publishes a Statement of Online Operation explaining how the quota for bbc.co.uk works.
