Commissioning Round Updates

To find out about commissioning for BBC local radio stations please look at their website where you can find contact details for the station.

Commissioning Process

Most BBC local radio stations do not budget for contracting independent production companies and therefore do not look to buy programmes from them. However, some of the larger local radio stations are open for ideas and are happy to be approached.

It is best to approach the station and see if they would be interested in working with an independent production company to find out if they would like to work with you.
