FOR FURTHER INFORMATION
In the first place please address any queries to Isabelle Hutchins.
Most BBC local radio stations do not budget for contracting independent production companies and therefore do not look to buy programmes from them. However, some of the larger local radio stations are open for ideas and are happy to be approached.
It is best to approach the station and see if they would be interested in working with an independent production company to find out if they would like to work with you.
There is also a new networked weekday evening show for all BBC Local Radio stations which is put out to tender in the independent production sector. Further details will be released about this soon.
To make sure you hear about big independent tenders for BBC Local Radio stations, please sign up to the A&M independent production company database.
