Tony Hall Unveils Vision For The BBC

BBC Director General Tony Hall today outlined his vision for the future of the BBC in his first major speech since returning to the Corporation.

Announcements included an extra 20% investment in arts programming which will include a major new strand called ‘BBC Arts at…’ intended to showcase live performances from around the country and a new initiative to inspire the next generation to get creative with digital technology and computer coding.
