Radio 2 Main Commissioning Round 2013/14

The Radio 2 Main Commissioning Round 2013/14 is now open.

More information about the network and what they are looking for, is available in the commissioning brief which is in the downloads section of this page (right hand side).

The round is composed of three main parts:

  • DOCUMENTARIES & MUSIC FEATURES - We are looking to commission distinctive documentaries that reflect both the UK and the world.
  • PRESENTER-LED GENRE-BASED SERIES - An hour-long slot that is looking to carry musical genres that are not catered for directly, across the rest of the Radio 2 schedule.
  • IDEAS WELCOME - A brief designed to allow for ideas that carry an ambition that works beyond the traditional commissioning brief format.

All submissions should be made in Proteus before the round closes on Thursday 13th September 2012 at 12 noon, with results published on Thursday 29th November 2012.

To submit ideas in the round you will need to be signed up to the A&M Independent Production Company Database.
