BBC Three has a reputation for breaking and developing new comedy talent. As part of BBC Three's Feed My Funny Exclusives we recently launched seven new long-form comedy pilots in iPlayer. The pilots were all very different in tone and approach testing out fresh ideas and talent proving that BBC Three is never afraid of trying new things.

After the success of the pilots, we are now on the look-out for innovative ideas for the next series of long form Feed My Funny Exclusives to commission later this year. We want to hear about:

Please think about how your idea will make a noise and stand out from the rest. What’s the attitude, what’s the approach, what’s the big-sell? It’s also important to think carefully about the opportunities that working online offers comedy. How could our online audience help to crowd-source parts of your show? Could any aspects be interactive?
These need to be long-form ideas. We are happy to consider ideas that would deliver a minimum of fifteen minutes of video per commission.
The commissioning round closes at the end of September 2012. Any commission will need to deliver by 31st March 2013.
Ideas should be submitted via the commissioners in the comedy and entertainment commissioning departments. Information on pitching to the BBC Commissioning teams via e-commissioning is available on the e-commissioning information page.
