BBC Radio 3 Commissioning Opportunity - Late Junction
BBC Radio 3 are retendering the strand Late Junction (our late night strand across many musical genres) for transmissions from 2 April 2013.
This strand now forms part of the WOCC (Window of Creative Competition) and, as such, is open to all suppliers, internal and external, who can demonstrate experience and expertise in producing a major daily music strand.
Please see the enclosed brief in the downloads section of this page for full editorial and financial details of the strand, as well as some information about what we are looking for in a proposal. The initial contract would be for a year’s worth of programmes, with the possibility of renewing for another 12 months.
All offers should be submitted on Proteus by 12 noon on Thursday 3 January 2013 using Radio 3 Commissioning Round 3 for 20132014 and commissioning brief no. 31269.

Radio 3 will be drawing up a shortlist with the intention of inviting in a number of tenders for further discussion during the second or third week of January, and results will be issued on Thursday 31 January, 2013.
