CBBC Drama submissions process update

We are making some changes to the way we develop and commission new independent dramas for CBBC in 2012. Instead of the usual annual commissioning round, we are returning to a system of rolling commissioning throughout the year bringing drama into line with the other CBBC genres. Proposals will still need to be submitted formally through e-commissioning.

Arts Council England & BBC launch digital arts media service

Arts Council England and the BBC have announced an experimental digital arts media service and commissioning programme called The Space. Audio & Music Independent Production Company Database

Tim Davie announces the launch of the new Audio & Music Independent Production Company database. This will be used for all communication and central queries for pitching ideas to BBC Network Radio stations. This replaces any separate directories that the individual networks have held in the past.
