Key things to know about using technology

  • Ringing the changes: We're now more likely to own a mobile phone than a TV. And almost 10% of British homes no longer have a landline telephone.
  • From strength to strength: Facebook reported an increase of 10 million users to their mobile site - growing from 5 million to 15 million in 2008.
