The Tape Package you deliver should include all of the following:
No. Format Description
1 Digibeta Master - BBC technically reviewed and accompanied by a BBC recording report - with final mix on Tracks 1 & 2, & Music and Effects on Tracks 3 & 4 (definitions below)
1 Digibeta Clean Master - for future re-versioning and re-titling. It should have: No captions/collage/ idents etc in lower third of screen; No in-vision subtitles (except on bought-in footage). Final mix on Tracks 1 & 2, and Music and Effects on Tracks 3 & 4 (definitions below). Please discuss the requirements regarding the Opening Title and Closing Credits sequences with your Broadcast Project Co-ordinator within the Open Broadcasting Unit.
2 Digibeta Clones - 16:9 FHA - with Final Mix on Tracks 1 & 2, & Music and Effects on Tracks 3 & 4 (definitions below)
1 Digibeta Please return the Digibeta of the OU End Credits sequence sent to you by the Open Broadcasting Unit
5 DVD Viewing copies
1 DA88 Containing M&E stereo, D&E stereo, Music stereo, Commentary stereo
All Original Material All location rushes, inserts etc
1 CD AVID project (Video Editor)
1 CD OMFI with embedded audio media (Video editor)
Delivery Instructions
The tape package should be delivered to the OU Information and Recorded Materials Co-Ordinator by 1700 on the contracted Delivery Date at the latest.

Your programme will be required to undergo a Technical Review - full details of what happens and how to book this are here.

Definitions:
Final Mix (to go on Tracks 1 & 2) = Full mix of all sound track components

M & E (to go on Tracks 3 & 4) = synch dialogue and voice overs (i.e. in-vision and out-of-vision contributors recorded as on location), music, and effects (location and post-dub). Should not include commentary.

Identification Numbers (for in-house productions)
A BBC Strand Code, Product Identification Number & Spool Number for each programme will have already been generated and set-up on P4A, and notification sent to you via e-mail by the Transmission Supervisor, Open Broadcasting Unit. You should have retained this information for use on the clock, tape labels, recording report and final paperwork. More information about identification numbers is here.
