What's been working well gallery

Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra was a remarkable success on BBC Two; bringing a broad range of classical music viewers and comedy fans of all ages to the channel. 

Maestro: An ambitious and innovative way of bringing a mass audience to classical music on BBC Two.

Music & Events - BBC Two - Music show or series for Saturday night

We would like to develop a range of themed nights and seasons. 

There is a very limited need, but we're keen to explore distinctive drama docs for broad audiences.

We're also keen to find shows that could be an event or format, showing how music inspires better lives.

There is some requirement for intelligent nostalgia music docs for a mainstream audience.

Intelligent classical music landmarks are important.

Where are the opportunities available?

There are limited opportunities in the WoCC in 12/13. 

How should I submit my ideas and who should I pitch to?

All proposals should be submitted via the e-commissioning system to the relevant genre controller or commissioner. Take a look at the Who's Who for the latest music  commissioning team contacts.
