Commissioning Opportunities

  • Saturday night 60 or 90 minute Event Documentaries through 2015/16. 
  • Exceptional ideas can be considered on merit even though slots in 2014/15 are becoming filled. 
  • The channel invites acquisitions in rock Documentaries.
  • Exceptional series ideas and original Formats welcomed for the longer term future.

Where are the opportunities available?

The channel works in partnership with BBC Four and across BBC Radio so ideas that play across channels and which might have a radio aspect to create immersive seasons are welcomed.
 

Overview

BBC Two is the home for music inspiration, intelligent takes on music as well as pure pleasure. This year the channel is specialising in single, high production value films which look at pivotal moments of music history in a more forensic way.

How should I submit my ideas and who should I pitch to?

All proposals should be submitted via BBC Pitch to the relevant Genre Controller or Commissioner.
