The role of our Arts output is to reflect, capture and comment on the cultural life of the country, and its place in the world. We constantly look to shape our understanding of what art is and why it is so, and increasingly to provide a platform for debate on the arts and culture.
BBC Arts output should appeal broadly, providing rich programming for arts enthusiasts on one hand and at the same time, providing entry points to others, making the arts accessible to people who currently feel less engaged.
