Submission Tips

If you're submitting your own work
Please tell us a bit about who you are and what you're submitting, and remember to include your email address so we can get in touch.

Do you send out a newsletter?
If you like to spam your friends with emails every time you've put something new online, count us in too. Add comedyshuffle@bbc.co.uk to your mailing list, or send us an invite.

Things to avoid: what we're not looking for...

Copyrighted material
We're looking for original work. It might be a video sketch, an audio monologue, a web comic - but no clips from copyrighted material like TV programmes, for example. We can't link to those and we'd only get in trouble.

Advertisements or viral advertising
We might occasionally link to these, but generally we're not looking for material that is advertising in itself, even if it's really funny. Please note that we won't directly embed material on our site that carries advertising, so disable this option or choose your host carefully to increase your chances of being featured in this way.

Gratuity
Obviously, we're not going to link to anything that is defamatory, racist, contains gratuitous violence, nudity etc.
