Hello everyone, and welcome to the Space Year 2008.

Christmas might officially be over, but we'd like to spread a little bit of Crimbolarity^TM further into the cold of winter.

For those who wish to reflect on the darker side of Christmas, we recommend you fill it with stories from The Daily Fortnight.

Of course, thanks to the continued popularity of the formidable (and profitable) Onion, it's tough for any budding satirical news website to escape its shadow (with a few exceptions) - but Britain's own Daily Fornight has the distinct advantage of being really rather funny. Here are two of our favourite Christmas stories, for example: Pantomime Cow Culled after Suspected Foot and Mouth Outbreak and Al Qaeda Release Four Disc DVD Box Set.
