BBC ONE's autumn comedy line-up
BBC ONE has unveiled its autumn schedules today, and here's some of the comedy you can look forward to:
- An hour-long, one-off Royle Family special
- Magnolia, a sitcom about an ex-con turned painter and decorator, written by Dave Spikey
- The Goodhousekeeping Guide, starring Alan Davies as a divorcee who turns to his prostitute neighbour for help in being a househusband
- Lee Mack's sitcom Not Going Out
- The Armstrong And Miller Show, a new series of sketches from the double act after more than five years
- Berry's Way, a one-off starring Lenny Henry as a dry cleaner who enrols on an Open University course
- Jam And Jerusalem, a comedy about a WI-style group written by Jennifer Saunders and starring Sue Johnston alongside Pauline McLynn, Joanna Lumley, Dawn French, David Mitchell and Sally Phillips
- Another series of the Only Fools And Horses spin-off Green Green Grass
- Another series of The Bigger Picture, with Graham Norton
