Pegg dreams of hour-long special.
We've heard rumours like this before, but Simon Pegg has dropped his biggest hint yet that Spaced could one day return.
He wants to do a one-off hour-long special of the show to tie up some loose ends.
Pegg revealed his desire in an interview for Radio 4's Chain Reaction conducted by Bill Bailey, who played comic bookshop owner Bilbo in the show.
He said: "What I really would love to do - and I really hope that we can do this at some point in the future - is one hour; finish it all off; tie up all the loose ends; get everybody where they're gonna be. Because we know where they all end up - there is a history to all of them, including you [Bilbo]".
The news comes a week after Spaced was voted the most-missed comedy of all time - ahead of the likes of Blackadder and Fawlty Towers - by comedy fans in an online poll.
The full interview will be aired tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6.30pm. Those of you reading this in the future should be able to listen to the show online using Radio 4's Listen Again service.
