Stan-up Comedy

[an error occurred while processing this directive] [an error occurred while processing this directive] 2005

See veteran legends of American humour for free.

If the names Stan Freberg or The Firesign Theatre mean anything to you, you'll be excited to know you can see them perform live, for free, courtesy of BBC Radio 4.

They are both cult legends of American comedy and coming to the UK to perform as part of new radio series Mark Thomas Presents.

Freberg is a 79-year-old satirist, best known for a series of hit records parodying early rock and roll stars like Elvis Presley.

And Firesign Theatre are a surreal California-based group, established in the Sixties, who combine rock music, hippy culture and detective drama from the golden age of radio.

Both acts are performing in London's Comedy Store on September 19 and October 3 respectively.

Order your free tickets - if you're over 18 - from the BBC Ticket Unit.
