Bill Bailey and Alan Davies are heading for the Edinburgh Fringe.
A piece of hot news from the Edinburgh Fringe: Bill Bailey and Alan Davies are to star in a new production of classic comedy The Odd Couple.
The show is being produced by Guy Masterson, the man behind the previous Edinburgh hits 12 Angry Men and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (at least before he quit when the pressure got to him), both of which also starred a cast of comics.
The Odd Couple's supporting cast will include many of the comedians from those shows - including Owen O'Neill, Ian Coppinger, Dave Johns, Phil Nichol, Katherine Jakeways and Lizzie Roper.
It will be staged at The Assembly Hall, a 790-seat
theatre that was formerly the home of the Scottish
Parliament, throughout the August festival.
