Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil

Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil

Kevin Cecil and Andy Riley met in a chemistry lesson in 1983. Having not picked up much chemistry and unable to find proper jobs, they became comedy writers.

Their credits include Black Books, Robbie the Reindeer, Little Britain, The Armando Iannucci Shows and Smack the Pony.

They wrote an animated feature for Disney called Gnomeo and Juliet, currently in production. They created the Radio Four panel game The 99p Challenge, hosted by Sue Perkins. Andy is also a cartoonist; he drew The Book Of Bunny Suicides.

They are the writers and creators of Slacker Cats, a prime time animated sitcom for the ABC Family Channel in the United States.

Andy's favourite science fiction TV programme is Blake's 7. Kevin's is The Tomorrow People.
