Robin Ince's Crazy Life

Is there anyone who's done more 'stuff' that Robin? Steve Bennett finds out...

Robin InceSaw Robin Ince's tongue-in-cheek show about his high-profile media work with the likes of Su Pollard and his brief appearance in The Office at the Underbelly yesterday.

To establish his showbiz credentials, he taunts the audience with questions to prove he is better than anyone else.

"Has anyone worked with Graham Norton?" he teased. But up came a hand: Radio 4 commissioning editor for comedy Caroline Raphael.

She was able to match him boast for boast, until Robin asked the final clincher: "Has anyone had an argument with David Icke about George Bush?"

He was just about to claim victory when another hand went up. From documentary maker Jon Ronson, something of an expert in conspiracy theories.

And just for the record, top chick lit author Jenny Colgan was there too, but her area of expertise didn't come up.
