Sitcom Trials

One Edinburgh has lost all but one of its performers...

Sitcom TrialsTo lose one cast member might be considered unfortunate, but to lose five out of six looks like carelessness.

But Kev F Sutherland, producer of The Sitcom Trials has been left with a one-man show after his supporting team all returned home.

He said: "Most shows just play the same, predictable, corporate three-week game with the same show and the same cast throughout their run.

"You could call us brave, you could call us daring, you could call us dangerously experimental. Or you could call us a show where the cast had day jobs to get back to and had used up all their holiday allocation after ten days.

"Personally I prefer 'brave'."

The new-look show moves from the Gilded Balloon to The Nicol Edwards Tavern on Friday.
