Offensive Flyers

Advertising for "Full Frontal Laboratory" has caused a bit of a stir...

Interesting Company have been getting a lot of complaints about the flyers for their Gilded Balloon show Full Frontal laboratory.

It shows a cat with tin foil cap and antenna being electrocuted, causing concern among animal-lovers.

The company's Jonathan Donahoe said: "We've had Canadian women almost lose their tempers with us, Japanese tourists refuse to take flyers, and mothers cover their children's eyes as they pass our posters.

"We even had a local animal rights group sending us abuse when we did our preview show in Oxford. But we'd like to set the record straight - it's not real."

The cat is apparently called Tinker, and the cap and the electrodes were added later by computer.
