Kitson wins an award for his theatre debut

Daniel Kitson, who's always been a bit grumpy about his Perrier award, has now collected an accolade for his theatre debut, too.
His show Stories For The Wobbly Hearted has won a coveted Fringe First prize, handed out for astounding new writing on the Edinburgh stage.
The prestigious awards are handed out by reviewers on The Scotsman, who called it "...a brave 80-minute show about loneliness and love".
Critic Joyce McMillan praised how the comic, who also delivers the monologue in the Traverse Theatre show, "represents that place where no-one is sorted, glamorous and cool, and everyone is struggling".
He will be given the prize at a ceremony next Friday.
In other awards news, Rhod Gilbert, Dan Tetsall and Robert Newman have all been shortlisted for the List~Writers Guild award for the Best Comedy Writing on the Fringe.
