The sitcom Sykes aired on BBC1 from 1972 to 1979. In this episode Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques who play twins are summoned to the BBC to celebrate 20 years of doing their series on television. The two get into all sorts of comic scrapes and it is usually Hattie’s job to get her brother out of trouble. The visit to the Head of Light Entertainment is no different, as Hattie steers Eric in the right direction.
