A number of magazines, have taken to publishing lists of healthy ways for singles to spend the day. They include delightful, therapist-approved suggestions such as “take yourself out on a date”. Take myself out on a date? That’s your suggestion? How about I make it a surprise too? Could everyone kindly stop pointing at what is missing in my life and offering sticky plasters?
