 In recent times Saffron has turned her attention to getting a proper, responsible job working for a New Labour arts initiative or, as Edina scornfully calls it, "..a new, PC, flagless, sexless, okay, anodyne, milky white British New Labour brand."

 Determined to be the high flying editor she’s always dreamed of being, series three finds Patsy packing her bags and heading for the Big Apple, leaving a newly spiritual Eddy to discover her ‘real self’. But Eddy soon realises that her new found friends are more crazy than she is. Eddy and Patsy also went to New York for a door handle in a series three episode called, oddly, Door Handle.
