How To Play On Web
 |
To play along on the web, ensure that you or someone in your team can view the TV while you are using the computer. Before the show starts you will need to log onto www.bbc.co.uk/comeandhaveago. You must stay logged online all the time while you play the quiz. On this website, click on "play now" on the homepage. This will take you to the instructions page.
|
Step 1: how to start
Read all the instructions. An on-screen timer indicates how much time you have before the programme begins, and remember, you can't play until the quiz begins on BBC ONE. You will be asked to enter a contact phone number.
Step 2: how to play
Once the quiz starts, you have 15 seconds to submit your answer for each question. Using your mouse, click the button on the screen to answer:
RED if your answer is A
GREEN if your answer is B
YELLOW if your answer is C
BLUE if your answer is D
When you press on a coloured button, your choice will be highlighted and the rest of the options will disappear. Choose carefully as you cannot change your answer.
There are 24 questions in total. At the end of the quiz your score will be calculated. High scoring teams may be called back on the phone number given and invited to take part in the next weeks show.
Step 3: highscorers may join Come & Have a Go TV show
Top scoring teams will be chosen to appear on the next week's show to compete for the big £50,000 cash prize.
If your team's score wasn't high enough to get a call back, never mind, you can practise in the Quiz Rooms to improve. Remember, The National Lottery Come & Have a Go runs for ten weeks until June the 25th, 2005 so there's more than one chance to hit the jackpot! Of course you can just watch the show or play for fun.
