How To Play On Freeview
 |
Freeview viewers can play along at home with interactive TV; they must be watching BBC ONE via their digital set top box. There will be a prompt message in the top right-hand corner of the TV screen during the show. When the show starts press the red button on the digital remote to play along and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you are playing for the chance to win the cash prize you must be ready to play at the beginning of the game.
|
Step 1: how to play
Once the game starts, you will have 15 seconds to submit your answer for each question. Using the colour buttons on the digital remote select:
RED if your answer is A
GREEN if your answer is B
YELLOW if your answer is C
BLUE if your answer is D
When you press one of the colour buttons your choice will be displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
Step 2: register your score code
There are 24 questions in total. It's very important you don't change channels during the game as your score will be lost and you won't be eligible for the cash prize. At the end of the game your score will be calculated. Teams with the highest scores receive a score code and a telephone number on their TV screen. If you do, make a note of this. You then have 15 minutes after the end of the show to call the number to register your score.
Step 3: highscorers may join Come & Have a Go TV show
Top scoring teams will be chosen to appear on the next week's show to compete for the big £50,000 cash prize. You can practise in the Quiz Rooms to improve. Remember, The National Lottery Come & Have a Go runs for ten weeks until 25th June, 2005 so there's more than one chance to hit the jackpot! Of course you can just watch the show or play for fun.
