I had a mysterious mobile phone about 5 months ago.When I answered it,I could only heard the noise of TV.I asked"Hello,who are you?"for several times.There was still noise.Then I have the mysterious phone almost everyweek,only hearing the noise.It really drives me mad!

Once on Sunday morning as I was sleeping, my phone rang. I picked it up, a male voice on the phone shouted at me where are you now?, I asked him who am I speaking to?. He not only did not answer me but also threatened me Im asking you, where you are now. Dont pretend to be a stranger to me, you cant not hide yourself longer, I will find you and you know what is going to happen.I was so angry, shouted at him What the hell are you saying? I dont know who you are and hung up. The following day he tried to call me again but I knew his number and didnt pick up the phone. Luckily he has not tried to call me any more.

Generally I tell people immediately if I dont know the person that they are wrong and hang up rapidly. Once an old lady called, she started with the story that she has been at the doctor and had received the result of a research. I asked who she wanted to speak to and she gave me a name. I told her that Im not the person she thinks I am but she continued. But I had enough time and so I listened, which lasted in total thirty minutes. The lady was sad and emotional. At the end of the conversation she asked who I was. I told her my name and she laughed, she thanked me for my time and the conversation. I had a good feeling that I took time for the lady even though I didnt know her.

I have many problems about the hang up calls, I have closed my phone when I receive any unknown call, because many person want from me money. hehehe. Actually in past, I did some calling to some person without tell him my name, for dating, I know it's bad, but now i have stop this bad behaviour.

I just had a mysterious mobile phone call 10 minutes before I study this lesson. I asked "Did you just called my number? who am I speaking to?" etc. I could hear there was a girl who I was speaking to but she did say anything and I just hung up. I can't explain this and it may not be just a coincidence?!

Actually, i couldn't remember the strangest call like this, but in my country there are a lot of irritating things with text messages which were made by loan companies to attract sb to be able to borrow the money easily.I think their individual information was disclosed on the internet when you sign up for some web sites. And it sends not only just ads which bother you but also somtimes it makes financial froud that fall in trouble to you.

last year i had frequent phone calls from a stranger for about six months and whenever i answered the phone i didnt hear anything just once or twice i heard the voice of a man but beside that i recieved several very long messages with subjects like he loves me very much..... from his messages i knew that he is a boy from my college, whenever i tried to call him i could hear only him saying hello and then he used to hang up, during this time i felt very angry because i used to receive sms and calls every time during the day even at 2 o"clock in the morning, i sent him messages not to disturb but it didn't work, then i gave his number to my brother he had a very bad fight with my brother saying it is none of my brothers business after that i didn't answer his number and did not respond at all, at last one night i received a sms that told he hates me alot with lots of bad words and after that he did not contact again. till now i don't know who he was and why he acted like that.

I got a phone call from a man who was looking for another one, of course that i wasn't. The real problem was, according to me, that person gave a wrong number to the other and didn't give him some money too...the very important issue, in fact that man was very angry and asking me for the money because he didn't believe me, he thought I was an accessory in the fraud. So I tried to keep calm at first by saying him "sorry wrong number", i thought it a joke, but that man called me three times...it was very stressful I became very nervous ans told him to stop calling me otherwise I would bring his number phone, that i could see, to the police station. so he quit...was really stressful experience.

When I was in high school some years ago I escaped from there with my friend. I came back to the house and after a few minutes the phone rang. I pick it up and I noticed who was talking is heamaster. I changed my voice and he didnt understand who I was. He reported my escape to myself.

I live alone in Cuiab to study, and my parents live in countryside of my state. Someone called to my mother and said that they have kidnapped me!!!! My mother become desperate!!! she cried a lot and ask a girl to call to my father. My father become so woried too, but he take the phone end called me. It was last year, 26 of July, may birthday, my friends prepare secret event for me. I new that something can surprise me but I couldn't imagine what. It started about 10am my phone rang, I pick up the phone but somebody hung up. I tried to call back but nobody answered, & then I got sms from Rafal M - with massage: I'm sorry I can't speak - it was strange because I didn't know any Rafal M. In next sms he thanked for nice appointment last week, I started laugh because I was at a party last week but I drunk too much & I didn't remember everything. But it wasn't funny, I still didn't know who it was. Then my desk phone rang & I got message that somebody brought me flowers. I thought it was my husband but not. These flowers were from Rafal M. I was exasperated because I didn't know who it was, he didn't answer for my phone calls. I told my friend in work about all that situation, but she didn't tell me anything, she only listened to me. It was about 2 pm my friends from work asked me to our conference room & started wishing me happy birthday & they gave me a present. When I opened this a found a ticket for dancing course with Rafal Maserak (Rafal M.) - very good dancer, who took place in Very famous tv program: "Dancing Stars"-))

Once I've got a phone call from a man who asked me something like "try to guess who am I?". And I obviously aswered like Sally " Excuse me, who am I? You phoned me! So you should say who you are!" This was a kind of embarassing conversation, because I didn't know who was calling me, and I was afraid that it was somebody that I knew but I could't recognise his voice. I would't like to be unpolite...After some minutes, he said " Don't you remember me? Exactly same thing had happened to my close friend for years! It was kind of shock to my friend which was a young college student to get a call from someone calling her 'the husband stealer.' At first, she tried to explain how wrong she is to blame her as 'house wrecker' but the women didn't hear her and got even more rude. Finally my friend's mum got the call from the weird woman but it was still no use. After she threatened her that she might call the police, the woman stopped calling. still, we can't figure out why the terrible misunderstanding has started... maybe because of similar phone number?! who knows!

Right after we move to a new house, my family used to get phone calls from a stranger in the middle of the night asking for someone named Aline. Even though we denied him he would call again and again.. In the begining we thought it was just one guy but then more were calling and bothering us. It was an international call, She was always asking for my Boss and when he's not around I would tell her he's out of office then she would hang up without identifying herself in spite of my asking, then she would call again and not answer if it wasn't my Boss. So everytime she calls I would pick the phone without saying something and hang up afterwards.

Yes, it always happens to me... Well, the last one was something irritating... because, I was going to have a lesson and a woman called me and said I called her before and she wanted to know who I was. I told her that that was not true because I didn't have any money on the phone so it was not possible to be me. Then, I excused my self and said I had to hang up because I was busy but then she called me again. This second time I said again it wasn't me who rang her, I said goodbye and hang up because the teacher was coming. And then she continued to phone me, but I refused to answer her... At that moment I felt bad because she continued for almost half an hour... Oh... obviusly, I hadn't given my name to her... :)

Some victims in Taiwan may answer the phone from strange people who are frauds.I had the same experience which happened in August last year. That day, one person said he's a police officer and discovered my finance details were stolen by the offenders. He asked me to furnish him with all my accounts for a period of time. Actually, it was a great worry to me. However, I tried to be calm and careful. Then, I asked him to leave some messages and called him back later. Afterward, I made a phone call to the police station and described in detail. They told me don't trust him because lots of people have already lost their hard-earned money. It's extremely awful in our society.

In my country some people phone other pepole's housesto annoy and haras them. Sometimes they phone and just stay quiet, not utter a word at the other end. We say "Hello, who is speaking?" but no answer. Sometimes they just blow in the phone. Once I remember my uncle phoned my house from Canada and there was something wrong with line so I couldn't hear him but he could listen what I said. I said "hello" few times but no answer at all. After that I started swearing and he thought "Why he is swearing at me? I didn't do anything to him". Then he put the phone down. Few days later he phoned again and told me whole story. I felt embarrassed and apologized for my unintentional bad behaviour.

Well it was some years back during a Christmas season, as I remember very well there was no one at home at about 6pm our telephone rang I jumped and grabbed the phone thinking it was one of my family, but it was not, the voice was strange and said hello in a high pitch which made me a little frightened but still I asked who it was and the stranger said he was a police men and wanted to inform that he had found our car near the railway station with big damage. When I heard the news got stand, as my husband was out but still could not imagine how it got on the side of the station. Then all of a sudden I asked some descriptions of the car and then the first thing he mentioned was the colour of the car which, was wrong but I didn't let him go off the phone, held him for few seconds and said thank you so much for your kind information and that I was so glad having such policemen in our village and hung up. My opinion is when we get such calls we shouldn't show that we are up set, but automatically we jump to the conclusion as it's the nature of humans.

Once I called my mum at work. And it comes that her colleague picked up at that very moment when my call was put through. In fact, the phone was not ringing yet - she intended to give someone a call, but heard my voice instead of the ringing tone. She was really afraid!
