Comedian David Walliams is getting his kit off again this week for his much-hyped charity swim. The jaunt is in aid of Sport Relief and will see him swimming a huge 14 miles across the Straits of Gibraltar.

David is joining Olympic rower James Cracknell who will be completing the final leg of his cross-continent challenge with the swim and the pair hope to finish the challenge together on Friday, if the weather allows it.

In 2006 David famously swam the English Channel in just ten and a half hours. Let's wait and see if he can have the same success with this little dip.

Apparently David is a bit worried he'll be eaten by sharks because he's not as slim-line as his challenge partner. DAVWAL is a buoyant 14.31 right now, snap him up before the sharks do.

Elsewhere in a Sport Relief-tastic week, Thursday will see one-time Fame Acadamy star Lemar Obika putting on a different kind of performance than he's used to.

Singer Lemar will be putting down the microphone and picking up his boxing gloves, as he goes head to head with TV presenter Ben Shephard in a charity boxing match.

You can support LEMAR in the 'daq corner, for 1.90.

Other, non-sport related, goings on this week include some more snazzy film awards, Uma Thurman giving evidence in court, and Ronan Keating performing at, yep you've guessed it, an awards ceremony. Well done everyone.
