Happy birthday to Kate Moss, who is 34 today.
As you may have read she's planning to celebrate at various parties during a mammoth 34-hour session, which will probably leave the weaker attendees sprawled around the streets of St John's Wood with aching livers for weeks on end.
The Evening Standard website has prepared for the big day by camping outside Kate's house since this morning, photographing her various gifts and party supplements as they arrive.
So far Kate's had lots of flowers and over-sized cards delivered, plus she's bought herself a posh new bed as a birthday treat.
That's probably a good thing because we seem to remember that when she last moved house the papers made a big deal out of her grubby-looking mattress.
What's intriguing is that Kate's Oliver Reed-style bender is in stark contrast to Pete Doherty's newly reformed image. Who'd have predicted that turnaround for 2008?
The other big story is that George Michael has signed a deal with HarperCollins to publish his "no-holds-barred" autobiography.
The deal is reportedly "one of the biggest ever in UK publishing", but the publisher will at least be saving money on a ghost-writer because George is determined to write every word himself.
The prospective book has also been described in the press release as "one of the hottest remaining untold celebrity memoirs" and we can't argue with that.
Even more excitingly, GEORGM shares are one of the cheapest around at 1.01. Well worth a look if you ask us.
And our (almost) daily round of congratulations today goes to Matthew McConaughey, who has announced that his girlfriend is pregnant. Well done to you, sir.
