Snippets have emerged on the internet today from a wide-ranging interview between Naomi Campbell and Hugo Chavez, the controversial president of Venezuela.
Naomi is guest editing GQ magazine, you see, which explains her side of the deal.
Quite why Hugo agreed to be interviewed by an ageing supermodel when so few professional western journalists have been granted an opportunity is unclear.
The broadsheets will probably show some interest in this story in the run-up to the interview's publication, so it might be a good time for a redistribution of NAOMIC shares, which currently stand at 1.01.
That's almost as much of a giveaway as Hugo's cheap oil handouts.
Elsewhere today most of the American gossip websites are still preoccupied with all the Britney business. There are fortunately no more new updates to the tawdry saga.
There is some internet chatter about the upcoming Golden Globe and Oscar ceremonies, because many actors are now committed to boycotting the awards in solidarity with Hollywood's striking writers.
Keira Knightley, Julia Roberts and Johnny Depp are apparently three such stars, with George Clooney and Cate Blanchett also likely to stay at home.
Keira's mum is a writer so it's an important issue for her, but will such protestations affect her chances of glory at these prestigious ceremonies?
Closer to home, it's looking ever more likely that Michael Jackson will perform a series of concerts at London's O2 arena.
And Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen are set to reprise their Big Breakfast partnership as Denise has been asked to join Johnny's radio show as a co-presenter.
That'll do for now, we think. Trade wisely.
