Slippery Moss
Slippery Moss
07 November 2007

The Daily Mail website carries the story that Kate Moss has slipped from 3rd to 10th in Harpers Bazaar's list of Best Dressed Women, which is officially published tomorrow.

Falling down the rankings probably isn't too surprising for Kate, but she will have been heartbroken to see who came ahead of her.

As well as fellow 'daq-listees like Thandie Newton (a very creditable 2nd) and Lily Allen, she's been beaten by stylish but, er, more mature ladies like JK Rowling and Helen Mirren.

Even more humiliatingly, two girlfriends of her ex-boyfriends come ahead of her, Anouck Lepere (Jefferson Hack) and Irina Lazareanu (Pete Doherty).

Let's not forget that Kate's been written off a few times in the past and always managed to bounce back, so we've still got a little faith in the Croydon cutie.

Another magazine released their 'awards' for the year today too. And Cosmopolitan must have very similar tastes to our traders because everyone they recognised is on the 'daq.

The eccentrically named awards included ones for Jordan ('Be The Best You Can Be' Prize), Rihanna ('Mistress Of Music'), Charlotte Church ('Ultimate Love the Skin You're in Goddess'), plus Leona, Myleene, Angelina, Cameron, Fearne, Ashley Jensen and Alan Carr (various).

And staying with awards, the Times website has noted how Ant and Dec have been snubbed in the British Comedy Awards nominations released today.

Catherine Tate and Alan Carr both receive nominations in these awards, which makes it two in a day for Alan. Not bad for a normally low-scoring 'daq celeb whose shares are priced at 1.53.
