Wrapping Paper
Make your own brightly coloured wrapping paper, great for wrapping up presents for friends and family.
This should take about 45 mins
You will need:
- Potatoes
- Plain wallpaper
- Assorted paints and paintbrush
Remember to ask a Grown-up for help.
What to do:
Step 1
Cut a potato in half then cut a shape onto the flat side of the potato. Shapes could include the following: a christmas tree, moon, star, berries and holly.
Step 2
Dip the shape carefully into the coloured paint you wish to print with.
Step 3
You could also paint a shape of your choice onto the potato with a brush.
Step 4
Press the potato gently onto the paper then remove. Do this lots of times with different shapes and different coloured paint. Now you have your very own colourful wrapping paper to wrap up presents for your friends and family on their birthday or for Christmas!
