Doodles Mask

Make a mask and pretend to be Doodles.

Remember to ask a grown-up for help.

You will need:

This should take about 45 minutes
  • Paper plate
  • Black cardboard
  • Red felt
  • Red and yellow tissue paper
  • Black and red felt pens
  • Wooden spoon
  • Parcel tape and glue
  • Safety scissors

Step 1

Paper plate with holes in

Cut two oval shapes out of the plate for the eyes.

Step 2

Tissue paper stuck on to the paper plate

Tear the red and the yellow tissue paper into little pieces then glue them onto the plate.

Step 3

Black marker pen drawn on to the plate

Cut an oval shape from the black card for the nose and glue it on. With the black pen, trace a thin line around the eyes, then draw the mouth.

Step 4

Paper stuck on to the red felt

Cut out your felt into ears shapes, then stick on the rest of the yellow tissue paper.

Step 5

The ears glued on to the plate

Glue the back of the ears on the back of the paper plate.

Step 6

Wooden spoon taped to the mask

Tape the wooden spoon on the back of the paper plate so you can hold the mask.

Step 7

You now have a fab-a-roony Doodles mask. Have fun!
